Highlighting Australasian architecture and design

Congratulations to The Local Project – champions of Australian and New Zealand architecture, interiors, design and art since 2016.

Vitrocsa is proud to support 10 – a curated book of Australian and New Zealand architectural projects, published by The Local Project. The Local Project 10 features Redwood, a 19th-century sandstone cottage in the Sydney suburb of Balmain, which received a modern addition under the direction of Chenchow Little Architects.

On a site sloping down to the equivalent of five storeys, the architects created a theatrical experience of the space where, Tony Chenchow explains, the approach was to frame and edit the view.

With their almost imperceptible presence, Vitrocsa Sliding and Guillotine Windows helped the architects to achieve this vision.
